Starting back at the dawn of the millennium, Scott Weaver (owner and head technician or ‘Head Cheese’) started out humbly building gaming PCs for himself and friends. From there the passion was ignited and now with over 20 years’ experience under his proverbial belt, he can just about build a PC with his eyes closed (it’s ok, he doesn't, he pays attention). From budget boxes to business machines right through to extreme gaming setups, you can be assured he knows what he’s doing. The Tech Doctor brand was founded in 2016 on the Gold Coast where it operated successfully until 2021 when The Doc and his wife briefly lost their minds and relocated to Tasmania for a change of climate. Quickly coming to their senses and missing the Queensland weather and way of life, they moved back to The Doc’s wife’s hometown of Townsville which is where they plan to stay.

The Tech Doctor is not commission driven, we’re customer driven so we’re not happy unless you are. You tell us what you want and we’ll do it, we’ll never try to upsell you or sell you something that isn’t suitable to your needs.
